spring break:
(if you read the whole thing you will probably enjoy it)

saturday, march 3
-pay 700 dollars to get my car fixed.
-leave for kentucky at 3pm
-arrive in kentucky at 10:30pm, sleep in car because it is too cold and dark to set up the tent
     -temperature drops to 23

sunday, march 4
-spend most of the day visiting places that are not open becaues it is sunday and it is not the "tourist" season
-pay for a cabin and sleep in a warm bed

monday, march 5
-drive 500+ miles to south carolina where it is finally warm enough to put flip-flops on
-see carrie who i haven't seen in a year and a half
-play with/stare at josiah...the roundest baby i have ever seen
-spend the night at al and lisa's

tuesday, march 6
-hang out with al at columbia international university
-hang out with lisa and josiah in a park
-watch the office and eat junk food all night
-spend the night at al and lisa's

wednesday, march 7
-wash the car
-leave for savannah
-arrive in savannah, set up tent, go to grocery story
-try to build a fire
-spend the night in a tent

thursday, march 8
-go downtown savannah...probably the pretiest city i have ever been in
-walk around, shop, eat, walk around
-eat at an amazing vegeterian indian restaurant
-go back to campsite, try to build a fire
-sleep in the tent

friday, march 9
-10:30 leave to return to savannah
-11:15 car breaks down
-11:45 some nice back-woods guys help us with car, tell us we need a new starter
-3:45 al, lisa, josiah, and heidi arrive to put new starter in....it's not the starter
-6:00 break down on highway again...tow car to church parking lot in the middle of nowhere (with a cemetary in the front yard)
-9:00 arrive back in columbia
-call lots of places and lots of people
-sleep at al and lisa's

saturday, march 10
-tow the car behind the van for 80/90 miles with a tow strap...3 hours
-make lots of calls trying to find a ride home
-hang out with the youth groups from al's church
-10:30 go to bed

sunday, march 11
-12:30am get up, al drives us to atlanta
-6am arrive in atlanta, meet up with a trucker on his way to michigan
-ride in the sleeper of a semi all day
-11:30pm arrive home

The fact that Spring Break is just around the corner is making it really hard for me to get things done.
I keep putting my school work off, such as the fact that I have three four papers due this week and I haven't started any of them yet.
Also, I am taking a road trip and it is all that I want to think about...I am excited to hopefully see lots of people that I haven't seen for a while.
